When designing a web site it helps to sketch out a draft of what you want the site to look like. Having at least a rough idea of what each page will contain will help you connect pages latter in the process. One way you may want to do this is sketch each page out on paper that will show how things will be placed and where each link will go. After you have a good idea of what the site should look like on paper its time to begin creating the Homepage, also know as the index page.
