The intelligent classroom is a concept currently under development at the Fairport Central School District. The idea is to equip a classroom with the technology and tools necessary to provide the best possible educational experience for the students.

Many possible technologies have been discussed for inclusion in the intelligent classroom. Among these are presentation projectors, interactive whiteboards, DVD Players, and of course, computers. Inherent to all of the technology is the backbone behind it, the infrastructure. The infrastructure refers specifically to power and network access, but it also includes the physical aspect of mounting hardware and locations.

What do you think should be included in an intelligent classroom? It seems that the concept may have some base technologies that are then built on depending on curricular area; an intelligent Math classroom might look different from an intelligent Chemistry classroom, but both would share a basic set of elements.
